My husband & I are elderly and are unable to do even simple maintenance and repairs around our house, so we always rely on Bill to help us out. Bill has done repairs on drainage issues, Window replacement, roof repairs, front step & walkway replacement, miscellaneous yard work, tile work, paneling work, shed construction and on and on. We hired Bill to manage a gut renovation of the first floor of our Dutch Colonial home in Waltham. We took out load-bearing walls and replaced them with structural beams, leveled the entire floor, replaced all of the electrical and plumbing, replicated window & door trim. He installed a brand new kitchen, Fireplace & Living room. This was a huge amount of work that required a lot of planning and oversight, and so we knew that we needed to hire a GC who knew what he was doing and could execute quickly and who took the quality of their work seriously.

From the first communication Bill was responsive and clear with us, and his bid was right in the middle with others we received.  When we decided to add things during the construction process, Bill was fair in his pricing and did excellent work.

The one thing I will say about Bill that I think is very important in a contractor – he has integrity and wants to stand behind the work that he does.  He insisted on leveling our floors, making the walls flush, and installing everything properly because he had a standard of quality that was clearly important to him not just as a business owner but as a person.  He does not cut corners, he does not do amateur work, and he was straight forward with us about what things would cost and how long they would take.  Along the way Bill was there to help us with any issues that came up, and we felt very comfortable knowing he was taking care of our project. By the way Bill and I thru this project have become best of Friends!

Highly recommend RLLC. I called yesterday late afternoon and Bill came this morning to give me an estimate for a water leak and damage. He is very knowledgeable and can immediately inform you on how the water travelled, affecting adjacent areas. The estimate was sent to me shortly after he left with detailed damage report and work itemization. I want the job done right and will insist my friends to use him. I will definitely refer RLLC to my other neighbors should the occasion occur.
